Assessing the goals of a fraud investigation, and doing the work to get through to the truth, is always a challenging task.

In this unique class covering forensic accounting and fraud investigations, we will train you on…

  • typical client goals in an investigation
  • case planning solutions & tools
  • how to organize a fraud investigation
  • use of data analytics in a fraud investigation
  • how to use Excel features for advanced analytics
  • determining the amount of a fraud and how to present findings

We will end this course with a case-study style game covering a fraud investigation in which you, the student, work through the fraud investigation in order to uncover what happened!

Target audience:  Individual without prior forensic accounting experience, such as entry-level accountants or accountants with experience in other areas.

Dates:  4 sessions at 2 hours each for approximately 8 hours of class time.
Monday December 7th, Wednesday December 9th, Monday December 14th, and Wednesday December 16th.
All dates are required.

CE credit for TEXAS CPAs:  8 hours

Times:  4:00pm – 6:00pm Central Time all 4 days
