MGR Accounting Recruiters was founded in San Antonio in 2007 by Mark Goldman, a CPA who saw a gap in the recruiting industry: agencies that placed accountants without anyone on staff who actually understood accounting. He built MGR around a simple idea — you get better placements when the people doing the recruiting have sat in the seats they’re hiring for.
In 2022, MGR became an employee-owned company when it joined the Teamshares network. The team that built MGR’s reputation is the same team running it today — now with a direct stake in every placement, every client relationship, and every advisory engagement we take on.
